This is where it began. My mumbly and slow worktape. I also found some old emails. Before my Notes app, I used to email myself lyrics. So below the song are a few screenshots of how this song started. This might be interesting to some of you and it might not be. I hope, though, to you creative types, it reminds you to just start somewhere. Is “Different Way” the best song in the world? No. But has it brought meaning to some folks. Yes. So just start your art. (Actually that could be a chant. JUST START, YOUR ART; YOUR ART, JUST START. Ok, that was stupid, but you see, I’m being dumb in front of you to make a point about starting. Like I just wrote down that chant idea, simple as that. Stupid? Yes. Started, though? Yes.)
