about getting the music
While it lasted, a good number of you took advantage of the free downloads. Please enjoy. But now it is back to the good old fashioned method of paying for goods and services. This should hardly dissuade anyone. The amount of time, energy and heart spent on creating this music is vastly greater than twelve dollars, the most you would spend on a single album here. But the real point is that we bet you will like the music. And we think it will perhaps repay you in some form or fashion. Many who buy write to say things like:
"It's one of the best albums I've heard in ages!"
"I appreciate your work!"
"It comforted me when I was going through a tough time."
"I really connect with it."
"I listened to the music while in labor to help calm me." (Yes, it's true, several mothers have said this.)
But let's end with something John Gorka said when he refused to let Aaron give him a CD after Aaron opened a concert for him. He handed him fifteen dollars and said, "It sounds better when you pay for it."
